Attendance
All students of school-age must enroll and attend school on a regular basis. Attendance is required of all students enrolled in school during the days and hours that school is in session, except when excused for a temporary absence when receiving satisfactory evidence of mental, physical, or other urgent conditions that may reasonably cause the student’s absence. Urgent reasons shall be strictly construed and do not permit irregular attendance. BASD employs Attendance Officers whose main role is to assist and support consistent student attendance.
